Ever since we started out, Bookmart Sligo has been devoted to bringing new cultural experiences to Sligo, and catering to audiences who were previously ignored.

We specialise in the literature of the weird and lost classics of the 20th century. Whether you want to find cult classics, a selection of poetry unmatched in Sligo or rare books that are no longer in print dealing with local history, Irish language and esoterica, we will do our best to help you.

Bookmart Sligo stocks a huge selection of vintage vinyl records and 7 inch singles- our range includes some 2000 records and is growing every day as we work with our suppliers to find classic records. Add to that our strong focus on zine culture and independent publishing, that has resulted in a range of publictions from small to micro presses that you won’t find anywhere else, and you can start to see what we’re all about!
